The Park City Area Lodging Association (PCALA) is a private, non-profit organization. Since 1986, The PCALA has facilitated active communication among community leaders. Members of the association consist of lodging entities, resorts, service providers and local organizations. Fraternity:
Establish fraternity among community leaders, who, while competing in with one another in business, share the common interests of furthering the growth of Park City
Provide the lodging community with an organized voice to city, county, and state governments
Increase goods and services available to members, through interaction with suppliers
Teri Whitney Hospitality & Tourism Scholarship Fund - available to local students enrolled in or who intend to enroll in a Hospitality and Tourism relevant curriculum
Service:
Ensure the progress of the hospitality climate
Uphold the reputation of Park City’s lodging community
Generate economic circulation for local businesses
Knowledge:
Distribute information among the association, keeping all members updated on current affairs
Provide knowledge through educational opportunities to its members and its employees
Cultivate close communication among other associations and organizations
This scholarship fund was established by the Park City Area Lodging Association (PCALA) to recognize one of the most selfless hospitality industry leaders of the Park City area lodging community, Teri Whitney. The PCALA hopes that the recipient(s) can pursue their dreams and careers in this industry, but most importantly leave a legacy of commitment and dedication equal to what Teri has done for this community and the Association over the years.
