Teri Whitney Hospitality & Tourism Scholarship Opportunity Fund

This scholarship fund was established by the Park City Area Lodging Association to recognize one of the most selfless hospitality industry leaders of the Park City area lodging community, Teri Whitney. The PCALA hopes that the recipient(s) can pursue their dreams and careers in this industry, but most importantly leave a legacy of commitment and dedication equal to what Teri has done for this community and the Association over the years.

Teri has been the GM of Snow Flower for over 30 years. She started her career at the Chateaux Après Lodge in 1977.  She started working at Snow Flower in 1980 as the assistant manager and took over the helm in 1982. She has worked tirelessly building wonderful relationships with her owners, employees and return guests alike. Additionally, Teri has served on countless committees, Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, including on the Executive Board of the PCALA since inception. Teri was the recipient of the Utah Hotel and Lodging Association “General Manager of the Year” award in 2010.
